TRASH’N FASHION SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Would you like to show your work and be eligible to win creative glory in our Trash’n Fashion Showcase?

Categories include: Best Use of Garbage, Most Wearable Clothing Item, Highest Concept Piece, Most Stylish Up-cycled Accessory, Mostly Likely to DIY it, Most Complicated Skill Set, Most Interesting Process, People’s Pick, and Jury’s Choice.
- All pieces may only be 20% “new” material & 80% recycled/ used material
- Pieces can be any size, for any gender, and any age
- Each applicant may present up to 4 pieces
- At our discretion, the Library may choose not to include work
- Work must be dropped off to the library on Thursday, April 26, between 1-4pm.
- Work must be taken home by the end of the Showcase event; at 7:00pm, Thursday, April 26, 2018
- Showcase event is Thursday, April 26 from 5-7pm. Makers must be on hand to share their process & pieces with visitors and/or jury
- Representatives from Old Lyme’s Solid Waste and Recycling Committee will also be making a presentation during the event
