Teen Scene Summer Reads Summer Reading Program
Come to the Community Room and register for the Summer Reading Program. Once registered you will receive a “Frequent Reader Card” where you will receive “stamps” for every book read. Once you have read 10 books, or received 10 stamps, turn your cards in for prizes: gift cards for local stores i.e. The Old Lyme Ice Cream Shoppe, The Chocolate Shell. Your turned in Frequent Reader cards will be used as a raffle ticket for an end of the Summer Grand Prize (still to be determined).
There is an email component to this program designed for those who wish to manage their accounts online, perfect for those who are not in town over the summer. Evanced is a software management program that you can register yourself for the summer reading program participation. You can log your reading and you will be alerted when you have earned a prize.
