Winter Break:
Tuesday February 21, 2012 2:30-4:30pm Fun with Duct Tape!
Duct Tape Madness!!! Come in to make a project of your choice with Duct Tape! What will you create? A cell phone case? A wallet? A headband? Materials will be provided. Grades 6 and up are welcome to attend. Snacks will be served. Registration is required.

Friday February 24, 2012 7:00-9:00pm Movie featuring on the Big Screen the movie:
“She’s All That” Rated PG-13 starring Freddie Prinze Jr and Rachel Leigh Cook
Movie Description: When school star Zach (Prinze)–who’s a jock, smart, and popular–gets dumped by vacuous Taylor (Jodi Lyn O’Keefe) after spring break, he’s left dateless for the all-important prom. With a little goading from his less-than-sensitive best friend (hunky Paul Walker), he bets that he can make any girl into prom queen a mere eight weeks before the dance. The object of their wager: misfit Laney (Cook), a gawky art student too busy with her paintings and taking care of her brother and dad to worry about school politics. However, after a couple looks from Zach, and a few dates that reveal him to be a hunk of substance, Laney’s armor begins to melt–and her stock at school soars. Soon enough, she’s the lone candidate for prom queen against the mean and relentless Taylor.

Bring your favorite movie snacks, Popcorn will be provided. Registration is requested. Friday March 16, 2012 Teen Scene Skype Author Talk! (Time to be determined) Using Skype Technology on the Library’s computer, get in touch with a favorite author, virtually! This interactive virtual author talk will give you the opportunity to ask questions and learn about writing techniques from a young adult author.
