Book Summary: Jane becomes a nanny for Nico Rathburn, a famous rock star. She prefers the company of his daughter and is not at all afraid to satate her opinions to him. Is it any wonder thatout of this would ocme a perfect romance?
Review: This book takes place in Old Lyme, CT! Which is fun to read about. A modern day Jane Eyre story that is redeemable and contagious, I really enjoyed this book.
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

From his stories his grandfather told him about children with unusual and otherworldly gifts, Jacob finds the key to unlocking a far deeper and more terrible mystery.
Review: This book is filled with strange and a little bit disturbing images and so far I am enjoying the storyline…
Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini
Book Summary: This is the beginning of a new series whose primary theme is rooted in ancient mythology.
Review: Very compelling plotline but I am not enjoying the execution. The writing style isn’t as refined as I expected it to be with professional reviews rating it high. Someone please read it and let me know what you think….maybe I am missing the mark here.
The Bitter End by Jennifer Brown
Book Summary:
When Alex falls for the charming new boy at school, Cole — a handsome, funny, sports star who adores her — she can’t believe she’s finally found her soul mate . . . someone who truly loves and understands her.
At first, Alex is blissfully happy. Sure, Cole seems a little jealous of her relationship with her close friend Zack, but what guy would want his girlfriend spending all her time with another boy? As the months pass, though, Alex can no longer ignore Cole’s small put-downs, pinches, or increasingly violent threats.
As Alex struggles to come to terms with the sweet boyfriend she fell in love with and the boyfriend whose “love” she no longer recognizes, she is forced to choose — between her “true love” and herself.
