Lullaby Nights – Last Tuesday of the Month (Jan. – May) @ 6:15 PM – 6:45 PM
Join Eleanor Robinson to sing lullabies before tucking in for the evening. With our voices, her stringed instruments and quantities of percussive instruments for the families gathered, we will enjoy a melodic close to the day. Miss Eleanor has taught music and movement classes for over a decade in libraries, nursery schools, community centers and churches. She has performed in classic rock and blue grass bands.  Children in jammies welcomed!  Favorite stuffed animals too! This series is great for families with children ages birth to 5. Fun with Dr. Seuss – Friday, March 2, 2012 @ 5:15 P.M.
Listen to some of your favorite Dr. Seuss stories, play a crazy game, and create a wacky craft. Ages 3-7. Siblings are welcomed. Please dress appropriately for a messy craft. Register here.

St. Patrick’s Day Story Time – Monday, March 12, 2012 @ 10:30 AM
Listen to stories of leprechauns, eat green snacks, and dance to Irish music. Ages 2-5. Siblings are welcomed. Register here.

Easter Fun – Tuesday, April 3, 2012 @ 6:00 P.M.
Listen to Easter and bunny stories, sing and dance to silly songs, and search for “treasure” on an egg hunt in the Children’s Room. Children ages 3-7 are welcomed. Space is limited to 30 children. Register here.

Lego Mania – Last Saturday of the month (Jan. – May)  @ 10:00 AM – Noon.
Dive into plastic containers filled with colorful building blocks and create a work of art. Have fun with our expanded Lego collection of over 3,000 Legos and 10 building mats! No registration is needed for this program.  For children in kindergarten and up. Choking hazard for younger children. Younger children must have parent/guardian supervision. Registration is not required.

Fun @ the Library Afterschool Activities

Game Day – Thursday, February 23, April 5 and May 24 @ 3:15 PM
Various board and interactive games will be available to play from Hedbanz Game and Operation to Monopoly and Life! How steady are your hands? Get a good stretch when playing the game of Twister. All materials are provided. Snacks will be available. Please give information about any food intolerances. When registering, please indicate which day you wil be attending.  Register here.

Ductigami! – Thursday, March 1, 2012 @ 3:15 PM
Come in to make a project of your choice with Duct Tape! What will you create? A wallet? A headband? A lunch bag? Materials will be provided. Instructions for some projects will be available. Eco-crafts – Re-use, Recycle and Create! – Friday, April 20, 2012 @ 3:15 P.M.
Create something unique from a variety of donated materials. Bring your imagination and see what you can create. An eco-friendly Rain Stick will be the featured craft. Snacks will be provided. Please give information of any food intolerances. Register here. 

Mother’s Day Present – Picture Frames – Thursday, May 10, 2012 @ 3:15 PM
Surprise your mom and give her a picture frame decorated and designed by you using mosaic tiles. Bring your own 5×7 picture to complete your project, other craft materials provided. Refreshments provided. Please give information of any food intolerances. Register here.
