Summer Reading is finally here! This year, Preschoolers and toddlers are invited to join our Fizz, Boom, Read! “Baby Brainiacs” program. Once registered, each child will receive a reading record and a sheet of 50 stickers. Simply place a sticker on the reading record for each book you read together. Once the reading record is complete, come to the Library and submit it for a special prize from the Old Lyme Ice Cream Shoppe! (Alternative prizes are available upon request for children who have dietary restrictions).
Registration and Information Day for the Summer Reading Program is Saturday June 21, 2014 from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Library. Can’t make it and still want to be a part of it? Simply email Children’s Librarian Michelle DeSarbo at mdesarbo@207.210.128.51 with your child’s first and last name, age, and a valid email address. You can pick up your program materials at the library. Or, simply stop by and pick up your kit.
