We’re thrilled to report that the renovation work is nearly complete! In July we began accepting returns and filling curbside requests. It’s been so wonderful to see so many of you stopping by to pick up items; we’ve even had the pleasure of having a socially distanced chat with some of you!
Words can’t express how eager we are to resume normal operations, but we’re not quite ready yet. Rest assured, staff are hard at work organizing spaces and developing plans to provide the best possible service while keeping everyone safe in the months ahead.
While we anticipate continuing curbside service and virtual programming through at least the end of the year, we are making plans to open our doors in a limited capacity sometime soon. In the coming weeks we will begin to offer in-person Library services by appointment. Patrons will be invited to book a 30 minute appointment to select library materials; use computer, copier, or fax equipment; or request reference assistance. Our seating, study, and play areas will remain closed. Check back here for the most up-to-date information.
In the meantime, we want to take a moment to thank you for your patience this past year as we navigated a construction project and a global pandemic!
Wishing you well,
Katie Huffman & the Library Staff
