College Planning and Financial Aid Workshop with Sean Flynn Wednesday, Oct 25 at 7:00pm

Sean Flynn, a Financial Advisor with Essex Financial and certified college planning specialist will lead a workshop on College Planning and Financial Aid.

With education costs rising year after year, paying for college is a concern for most families. Additionally the financial aid process can be confusing, intimidating, and often frustrating. In this one-hour workshop Mr. Flynn will share which colleges offer the best financial aid packages, how to avoid mistakes on the FAFSA and CSS profile, how students can receive more free money and less loans, why private universities can cost less than a state school, and how families of all income levels may be eligible for financial aid.

A Fairfield University graduate, he holds a B.S. degree in finance from the Dolan School of Business.  He is also a certified College Planning Specialists (CCPS) through the National Institute of Certified College Planners. Sean has been featured in the Fairfield Business Journal and contributed to Financial Advisor Magazine for College.
