Phoebe’s BookCellar ½ Price Sale Saturday, April 29 – 10am to 2pm
If you haven’t been to Phoebe’s BookCellar in Old Lyme yet, now is your chance to get some incredible bargains on books, DVDs, CDs and Audio Books. The BookCellar is a volunteer run used bookstore operating on the lower level of the Old Lyme-Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library. With over 10,000 books in all genres, including History & Biography, Fiction & Mystery, Children’s, Fine Art and Rare & Collectible books. All proceeds benefit the Library.
Rare & Collectibles
Phoebe’s Bookcellar will be having a half-price sale on Saturday, April 29, include all Rare & Collectibles. We have a large number of these books: Children’s Books (relive your childhood!), history, americana, literature, autographed copies, local history and genealogy, and many other areas. Pick up your favorite Nancy Drew, an autographed copy of Caroline Kennedy’s “The Right to Privacy,” or major historical works by Edward Gibbon and David Hume. “Mini-catalogs” listing some of our main holdings in several areas are available on the library web site under the “BookCellar” menu.
