Salt Marsh Opera Guild Lecture on Rigoletto: September 22, 11 AM

Please join opera expert James Kuslan for a  lecture on Verdi’s highly acclaimed opera, Rigoletto.  This lecture is one in a series presented by the Salt Marsh Opera (SMO) Guild to precede their fall 2012 productions.

Since 1851 audiences have enjoyed this captivating tale of love and deception. Verdi’s haunting and tragic masterpiece about Rigoletto, a hunchbacked court jester, his innocent daughter and a womanizing Duke, who share a heartbreaking story of seduction, curses and revenge, as well as regret.

James Kuslan is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Yale University’s School of Drama. He lectures frequently on topics operatic and theatrical.
